We are the Munguía Family

As you can see in the picture, we’re a family of seven. Before we got married Ivan had the idea of having a big family and always said he wanted to have eight children. When Ivan and Laura were in talks of getting married, Laura agreed to have “four kids, and then we evaluate if we want more” Ivan quickly said “we have a deal”.

We currently live in Guadalajara Mexico. One of our main ministries is pastoring a small home Bible Church. We love to get involved in camp ministry: teaching, playing music, dorm leading, guiding young people, and organizing games.

Pizza. You tell Laura to prepare the dough. You make balls, you let them inflate, then flatten them with a roller, you put sauce, cheese, add as many toppings as you wish and put it in the oven. Mmmm, delicious!

Mango with Mexican chili powder. I love the sweet-salty-hot taste

I have to go with American-style cheesecake (Thank you America!!)

Definitely Math. I’m good at understanding abstract concepts

I enjoy watching series in English. I enjoy a good story while improving my English

I like to cook a Mexican BBQ. You make Mexican rice, grill Mexican sauce (chorizo), peppers stuffed with cheese, Mexican beans, roasted vegetables. Then you eat your grilled meat with all those side dishes.

Pear with cottage cheese, because I like the combined taste

Brownies with ice cream. I like chocolate, and brownie is chocolate at its best

I like natural sciences class, because I learn a lot

Lately I’ve been thinking about the story of Daniel’s friends. When they were going to put them in the burning fiery furnace. They said they weren’t going to worship the golden image because they knew God was going to deliver them. But if God didn’t deliver, they still wouldn’t worship the image.

Alphabet soup. First you cut the tomato into 4 parts, then you put onions and garlic in the blender. Then you put oil in a pot, open the soups, and you pour them in the pot. Then you have to stir it, or else it will burn. Don’t stop stirring. After soup changes color to brown, you pour the sauce from the blender to the pot and keep stirring.

Watermelon, because I like it is juicy and I like to eat the white seeds

Brownie, because it’s chocolate and it has ice cream on top
